Damari & Co.
Damari Rubio grew up with many fashion influences. Her mother, who grew up in El Salvador, came to the United States and was quickly infused by 80’s fashion and still added her own Spanish flare. Damari’s aunts taught her to always be self- confident and that it is okay to take risks with fashion. While working at Victoria’s Secret, Damari realized her eye for fashion and enjoyed helping women feel beautiful. A few years later, Damari was given the opportunity to work for a hotel marketing firm were she got to travel and represent extraordinary hotels. Damari strongly believes that nothing happens by chance. So she has been able to combine both of her passions, fashion and travel into one. She is now the Creative Director of her fashion glove line DAMARI, all influenced by her travels.
Born on June 3, 1983, in Houston, Texas, designer Damari Rubio is one of the few glove designers and makers in the United States and in the fashion industry. She is the middle child of Jacob and Ana Isabel Rubio. Damari has two siblings, her older sister, Cindy Rubio who is a Financial Advisor and her younger sister, Jamileth Froste who is an Educator.
Damari’s love for gloves sparked during her travels. She gained inspiration as she walked through the antique stores in beautiful Buenos Aires and the street markets boasting in rich culture in Central America. For Damari, “there is something about gloves that brings out femininity and reminds us how far along women have come.”

Ky Meyer is a television veteran with nearly two decades in front and behind the camera. Her love for people and storytelling has taken her all over the country, creating a well-known colorful platform of creativity, positivity and fun. Her hat rack is packed with award-winning roles as a news anchor and reporter, executive producer, writer, radio personality, TV host and photographer.
She landed her first job in news at KHQ-TV in her hometown of Spokane, WA and her presence was soon known across the state (KAYU-TV, KNDO-TV and KING-5 in Seattle). Ky made her move from Seattle to Hollywood, where she would take on new roles as an entertainment host, red carpet reporter and voice behind one of the first major music podcasts in Los Angeles called Enter The Shell.
A half a decade later, Ky answered the call to move to Houston, Texas to put her television producer hat back on. She spent an entire year helping to develop and launch the country’s first ever non-traditional, anchorless newscast called Newsfix. What started as a prime time show on Houston’s CW Network, soon grew to three shows in Houston and the launch of Newsfix in Dallas and Miami. During that time Ky also took her love for music to create and host the only television platform for artists in Htown called Tuned In with Ky Meyer that ran weekly. During it’s nearly six year run, Ky made a name for herself as the first female host on Newsfix. Her undeniable passion helped elevate artists and push the envelop with stories that have never been told on TV.
After launching six shows in three major television markets, Ky shattered her glass ceiling and knew it was time to break ground on a new venture. She’s now the Founder and Executive Producer of her own company, Kollective Media. She's also the Media Director for Kaleidoscope Houston and Real Beauty Real Women. Ky’s hope is that her journey has helped pave the way for women and anyone looking to think outside the box to create the life they want.

Listeners can look forward to a collection of tracks to be released one by one, culminating as a single opus.
